- play with rhythmical accuracy
- have basic knowledge of ensemble techniques: listening to intonation, following bowings, dynamics, tempo etc

The course is for those who have played for approximately one year or more. Particularly suitable for students who attend the level 2 and 3 violin/viola and cello classes on the same evening.
Violins, violas, cellos and double basses will form the ensemble and work as a group.
The tutor will supply music. Students should bring a pencil and rubber to class.
Continuous informal verbal feedback by the tutor. Students can take part in an informal concert. You will receive regular feedback from your tutor throughout the course, as and when appropriate. At the end of the course you and your tutor are asked to assess the progress you have made.
Yes, please complete the evaluation form at the end of your course. These are monitored and help us to continually improve our courses.
